A Cave (الكهف) of rahma and tarbiya for our girls to be empowered through core values of faith in a playful and spiritual safe-space (زاوية). This is our place to cultivate social skills, healthy eating, physical health and for them to express their muslimah-ness.
Alhamdulillah it’s such a delight to watch these girls have fun. It’s so needed. There’s so much judgement and criticism from everyone if girls run around in any other setting. Its refreshing for the girls to have this space to be free, away from judgment and just burn energy. Alhamdulillah my poor girl doesn’t crack a smile all week but she doesn’t stop smiling on Friday evenings.

From the moment my daughter and myself walked into the Youth Club for mothers and daughters, we were instantly hit with a warm welcome and were embraced into the sisterhood which did not discriminate against age, race or disabilities. My daughter has social anxiety and attending every Friday has been a delight for her. It has truly become her safe haven and is the highlight of her week. It has built her confidence to socialise and improved her mental health al’hamduliah. I can’t thank you enough for creating this space.

My daughter is really enjoying the sessions at the Youth Sanctuary Centre. Alhamdulillah, the centre provides a safe space for young girls to socialise and have fun in a friendly, relaxed environment, whilst benefiting from Islamic reminders. It's also a nice way for mothers and daughters to bond. The hospitality provided by volunteers is excellent MashaAllah. JazakAllah khairan for such a brilliant initiative, we really look forward to attending.

YSC provide support for mind, body and soul. From self defence and fitness, to table tennis and pool, to naseeha sessions and discussions on personal development beyond the home by taking an active role in serving the community.
Support Muslims mothers of this community to taker a public and active role in shaping and protecting our daughters. A "neighbour" is up to forty doors- forty families, in every direction. If we dont stand up, no-one will.
